Adding the Sticky Anchor Ad to a page
The Sticky Anchor Ad is a new page element that can be added directly on a page or to a template to have the ad load on multiple pages.
- Edit the Page or Template you would like to add the Sticky Anchor Ad to
- Click any “+” in the Page Builder to add a new page element. Note that the placement of the element on the page or template doesn’t matter. The ad will always appear at the bottom of the browser regardless of where the element is placed in the admin.
- In the drop down menu, choose which ad position you would like to display in the anchor position. We recommend using the ‘sticky-anchor’ ad created above.
- Setting up the ‘sticky-anchor’ ad placement and using that allows the proper ad sizes and key values to be used and passed for this new ad option.
- This ad position (if built as instructed) will pass the key value into Google Ad Manager as: placement = sticky-anchor1
- Save the element then save the page.
- In Google Ad Manager your standard run of site ads booked to the available sizes will deliver into the sticky-anchor placement. If you want an ad to run only there, then use the placement key value as listed previously.
