Contest Form Example
To Create A Contest Form Like The One Above:
- Go to Forms > New Form
- Go to Advanced Fields
- Add one Name field
- Add one Email field
NOTE: If you are trying to limit entries to one per person, you can make the Email field “Required” and also select “No Duplicates.”
- Add one CAPTCHA field (if CAPTCHA is activated for your site)
- Go to Standard Fields
- Add one HTML field
- Using HTML, insert a link to you Contest Rules page.
- Information about creating contest rules is on the Forms page
- Go to Settings > Notifications
- Decide whether you would like your site’s admin email address to receive a notification each time someone submits the survey. If you would like to change the email that receives a notification:
- Click Admin Notification
- Edit the Send To Email field so the email address that should receive notifications is listed
- Hit Update Notification
- Choose the confirmation message you want visitors to see when they submit their answer. In the example above, the default confirmation message was edited to say, “Thanks for entering!” To edit the confirmation message:
- Click Default Confirmation
- Edit the Message field so the message you’d like website visitors to see appears
- Hit Save Confirmation.
- Once your form is ready, you can place it on a page or in an article.
